Group Trips and Team Building.  The common acronym for TEAM (Together, Everyone, Achieves, More) may sound a bit silly, but it is entirely true!  Whitewater rafting trips are superb group activities.  Not just for the sport itself, but for the amazing scenery, sheer adventure and the unity that make up a proven recipe for a successful group experience.  Whether your objective is to enhance performance, communication, initiation or simply rewarded others for a job well done, there is no other activity like whitewater rafting!

Team Building and Rafting.  Whitewater rafting is an excellent and proven activity for having a blast and in the process developing valuable team building and leadership skills.  When the experience is shared amongst co-workers and peers, a regular River Drifters trip is an exhilarating and effective tool for increasing productivity, teamwork and community!  We offer trips from one to five days in length that can enhance your organizations communication, leadership issues and team building.  Whether it is simply a department within your organization, a church congregation, work party or even the whole company, a whitewater rafting trip with River Drifters will be one that they remember!

Group Discounts.  Organizing a group can clearly save your organization money.  Our generous discounts usually begin with groups of more than 12 people and the savings become incrementally larger with each additional 12 people.  This special discount scale allows groups to start small and receive a greater discount as the interest enlarges.  A trip organizer should publicize the the trip (with a flyer) and distribute trip information to each group member!  Please visit the Our Rivers page and then select the chosen river for more discount information or simply call our office for assistance!  

Promoting Your Groups' Trip.  You can send an email to them, place a flyer in the lunch room, call or send them literature.  There are many ways to promote your groups' trip and increase interest.  And Remember, the more people that are interested in rafting with us, the greater the discount!  Call us for more ways and assistance in promoting your trip!

Transporting/Chartering Your Group.  Group trips can sometimes be quite challenging.  From collaborating everyone's schedules together to remembering how many dietary restrictions there are, the list goes on and on.  One big question that seems to lurk over every groups' shoulders is 'how to transport your group'.  Although River Drifters does not pick up your group from your doorstep or business, we have compiled a list of transportation/charter companies together to make your job easier.  We hope this helps!

Designing a custom Group Trip

Sometimes the trips that we offer don't quite fit the need of some groups.  For example, say that you are planning a large corporate outing, family retreat or college graduation and there is a special itinerary or even a couple of different rivers that your group would like to do.  No problem, we have been customizing trips for many different groups who now make their trip an annual event.  For the most part, we are completely flexible to offer custom trips or multi-river packages anytime of year except the weekends of July and August.  Custom trips receive the best price breaks if one of two scenarios happen:  during off -peak season or if your trip must be in July/August, then please make it a weekday adventure!

The best way to design your own custom trip is to follow these steps:

1. Determine your party size 
2. Make a list of preferred dates (with a few alternative dates)
3. Determine what river(s) and/or how many days you would like to plan for.
4. Make a list of special elements that we could help with (extra meals, special menus, charter pick-up ect.).  These amenities will come at a reasonable but extra charge.
