From Portland/Vancouver Area Directions:
View Directions to River Drifters WHITE SALMON RIVER from PORTLAND in a larger map Travel East on I-84 towards Hood River, Oregon. Take exit #64 to White Salmon; travel north across the Columbia River and the toll bridge (into Washington). Take a LEFT at the light and travel for roughly 1 mile on HWY 14 and take a Right on ALT HWY 141 (towards Mt Adams and Trout Lake). Travel 2.5 miles on ALT HWY 141 (road does become curvy)! Once at Stop Sign Turn LEFT onto HWY 141 (again towards Trout Lake), proceed North 4.5 Miles. You will see a Golf Coarse on your RIGHT, we are 100 yards past the golf coarse on the RIGHT. There is signage clearly indicating River Drifters! We are on the RIGHT hand (East) side of the road. If you cross the White Salmon River (via bridge), you have gone too far! You will see a sign on the building, a River Drifters bus or van with rafts easily identifiable!
Please allow 90 minutes traveling time from Portland or 20 minutes from Hood River!
